Our Vision - To improve the lives of all doctors in Australasia
At MedRecruit our vision is to improve the lives of all doctors in Australasia through
giving them their lifestyle back! We take all the hassle out of getting the perfect
placement for doctors and hospitals alike. Medicine is challenging enough, finding
the perfect placement shouldn’t be!
Doctors shouldn’t be subjected to recruitment agencies who just pay lip service
to lifestyle like most do, this really fires us up! This time in medicine means
doctors can create anything they want, they shouldn’t have to compromise.
We acknowledge our customers are our lifeblood and our goal is to always exceed
our customers’ expectations and exceed the standard set by the industry, so every
person who interacts with MedRecruit knows how important they are.
We will give our best, every time, with unparalleled energy, efficiency and enthusiasm.
How we operate
We update our vacancies online so doctors can utilise the search engine to have
up-to-the-minute information about vacancies that interest them.
We provide both short and long term medical placements for New Zealand, Australian,
UK and Irish and other overseas doctors. MedRecruit looks after our doctors by catering
to both lifestyle and career, by having vacancies in fantastic locations and also
by providing training positions already accredited by Royal Australasian Colleges.
Looking after...
We see giving back as everyone’s responsibility. As such we are doing our small
bit. Our website has a lot of useful resources for all doctors to make their lives
easier and improve their working experience. We are sponsoring Dr Sarah Beable in
her journey to the Hawaii World Ironman Championships, we sponsor medical students
to go to Nabukavesi village in Fiji to do public health work, and we take great
pleasure in sponsoring an Indian child called Mohipal.
Where we came from
MedRecruit are excited about the idea of doing something to empower doctors to craft
their working lives around their chosen lifestyle and to help facilitate getting
them the rewards they deserve.
MedRecruit’s quest to revolutionise the way doctors work began in 2005 when two
friends, Dr Sam Hazledine and Dr Barney Montgomery, became frustrated by the way
doctors were being treated and the lack of options available to them – why wasn’t
there a medical recruitment company out there that doctors could access easily and
use to chose work to fit their lifestyle?
In 2006 Sam Hazledine founded MedRecruit with the vision of improving the lives
of all doctors in Australasia by creating a medical recruitment agency that empowers
doctors to reach their dreams, be they personal or professional. He talked to countless
doctors to find out what they wanted and assembled a quality team to implement these
needs. Sam’s vision for MedRecruit is to continue to serve doctors so they can create
the lives they deserve, and they know they are valued.
Everyone involved with MedRecruit is passionate about creating a world-class
company dedicated to improving the lives of all doctors in Australasia.
