There are plenty of opportunities for senior locum doctors in all specialities in Australia. If you are a Consultant or Fellow then there is particularly high demand for ED consultants and SMOs. In addition, General Medicine Consultant work is always available. The duration of these placements can range from a few days to a number of weeks.  

As a senior locum doctor you can expect to earn approximately $2000 per day.
