Who we are
In 2006, Dr Sam Hazledine and his wife Claire made a life changing decision; to set up a company whose aim was to improve the working lives of doctors across Australasia by partnering with them in their careers. In 2006, MedRecruit Ltd was born.
Since then, MedRecruit has become a highly successful business and one which has been recognised in the national business and entrepreneurial arena. It’s been a truly exciting time and whilst the rapid growth is fantastic, what we’re much more excited about is the positive impact our service has had on our clients.
What we do
In essence, MedRecruit is a medical recruitment company. However we like to say that we are ‘a service business who happens to be in the medical recruitment industry’. We place doctors into short term and permanent placements, in hospitals and medical practices across Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific Islands. Currently the majority of our business is in the fast paced and competitive Australian locum market. We have an office in Queenstown, New Zealand and the Gold Coast, Australia.
Whilst we are a relatively young company, we are a very successful company who is constantly evolving, growing, and leading the way. We take great pride in who we are and what we do, and we’re particularly proud of what we’ve achieved so far. It is the awesome service we provide to our clients that sets us apart from the rest, and this is due to the brilliance of our team.

Our culture is the foundation of our success, it is our identity. It is vital that as we continue to grow and bring new people into our team, that our culture is supported and strengthened. It is hard to sum up what our culture is in one sentence, but we believe we have captured it in our values. Our values are not just words; it is our ethos, it is the way we do things around here.
